On July 5th, we took a van full of groms out to woodward west, AIL was hosting an amateur skate contest. In the van was; Storm, Shane, Maxx, Austin, Skylar and his sidekick Tristan. In charge was Captain Eagle Hat aka Tracy White. I went along for the ride and decided to join the kids, so I entered the contest. It was my first time in 6 years and I was a little rusty.
All the kids had fun skating around and beating themselves up, even Tristan tried to take out one of the Advanced skaters by jumping right in his way, everything turned out OK, the skater wasn't going to land anyways, so Tristan your lucky. We meet up with Dom Sagona, Rachard Johnson and the U.R.S. crew who also came out to support. It turned out to be a perfect Saturday for a skate trip. -Carlos Kessell
